St.
Michael the Archangel
Never underestimate the value of prayer. Some of us older Catholics may remember that for years many parishes said a regular prayer at the end of Mass for the conversion of Russia away from Communism. White it took several years, that prayer campaign was obviously successful.
A new movement from Human Life International provides a prayer after Mass to St. Michael for the conversion of abortionists. This prayer has become increasingly popular and has already spread to numerous countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America and is now eing said in many languages. It is being encouraged by the Rockford Diocese and is already being said in many parishes in the area.
Father John Hanrahan has brought St. Mary's into this movement. Effective May 21, 2007, the prayer to St. Michael will be said after every Mass. The prayer cards will be placed in the pews. Additional prayer cards will be made available.
