| Diane, Iya and Eski were on Korean Airlines Flight 37 which
arrived at Chicago at O'Hare International Airport's International
Building Terminal 5 at about 9:30 a.m. They were one of the last to
pass through the doors into the large waiting room because they had to
go through both Customs and Immigration. Here, they just walked through
the doors in the back to the main lobby of the terminal. That is little
Marco in the orange jacket waiting to greet them. |

| Here, many of us line up for a group photo. From left to
right: Marco, Philip, Eski, Diane with Iya, and Malu with baby Buddy
and Tricia. This was taken in the big waiting room on the lower level
at the International Building. |

| Nancy missed out on the earlier photo so we took another one.
Here from left to right are: Eski, Diane with Iya, and Nancy and
Tricia. Larry was busy taking the photos. The following day, Tricia went in for pre-school screening and did extremely well on her tests. She had double or triple the passing grade in each testing area and was rated like a child two years older. |

| After leaving the airport, our first stop was at Woodfield
Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois. I think it is still the largest mall in
Illinois. We took a few minutes to stop at the Disney Store. Larry
stopped briefly at the Apple computer store and learned a way to do
these pages in the new Mac operating system. Here, Diane and Eski are
walking with little Iya. Eski seems to be adjusting well to our natural
air con outside this time of year. |

| Panjee was in school on Tuesday and was not able to go to
O'Hare Airport. However, she was able to greet Diane and Eski when she
returned home from school. Note the TV in the background which is
turned to The Philippine Channel with shows like Wowowee and Game Ka
Na Ba. Panjee and Diane have not seen each other for more than six years since Panjee was only seven years old when she left the Philippines. |

| Since Wednesday was Philip's birthday, we decided to
celebrate it on Tuesday night after we all arrived home. Here Philip
poses with his birthday cake. Yes, we did sing Happy Birthday and he
did blow out the candles. Malu cooked some very nice food for our birthday and welcoming party on Tuesday evening. |

| Malu gives her brother Eski a hug. Malu had been in the
United States for a year and is working as a nurse at the hospital in
Sterling, Illinois. Hence, both Eski and Diane had relatives waiting
for them here. |

| This is somewhat of a historical photo of the four Pascua
girls who are nurses. From left to right are Menchu, Diane, Cookie and
Nancy (Ate). This is the first time that all four girls have been
together in more than six years. The Pascua missing from the photo is Jong, who is in the United States but lives in Arizona. |

| Here is a similar photo of the guys, most of whom are also
nurses. I do not qualify as a nurse but I was a medic while in the
army. From left to right: Richard, Eski, Larry and Philip. Diane will be working at the nursing home in Franklin Grove, Illinois as a registered nurse. Eski will be looking for work elsewhere, possibly in banking or another field. |

| Richard and Cookie were working and could not come to O'Hare
on Tuesday but they did join in a party for the newcomers at Larry and
Nancy's house on Wednesday. Left to right are: Eski, Diane, Cookie with
Deuce the dog, and Richard. |
