Our weather has been unusual recently. Although we have had much less snow, it does seem to take longer for summer and hot weather to arrive. This summer was marked by several days with high winds and thunderstorms, which blew around many toys left in the yard. However, Tricia is starting to talk and is getting involved in more things.

| Mid-June marked Town and Country Days in Polo. In addition to several special activities, our streets downtown were blocked up for a carnival and rides. | Tricia really enjoyed the Town and Country Days parade. She enjoyed looking at all of the floats, Shriners with motorcycles, old cars, trucks and horses. But she also got excitied when she discovered that many them threw candy to the kids when passing. This photo was taken after the parade at the back of Menchu's van.
