Nancy's e-mail account has been hit hard with spam and has been replaced with a new e-mail account as of mid-September, 2003. To avoid this problem in the future, we decided to rework all of our family digital photo pages to eliminate e-mail links and replace them with jpegs. Since the summer of 2003 also found us reinstalling our home Web server and changing our commercial Web server space, we decided to collect all of these photo pages together in one location. Privacy seems to be a losing battle with the Web spiders anyway. In spite of the fact that our photo pages were not linked into any other Web pages, they still showed up occasionally in the big search engines. Some Webmasters complain that they cannot get noticed by the big search engines, we seem to have the opposite problem.

Following are our reworked Plachno Family Digital Photo Pages for your viewing pleasure. To make things simple, we have put the oldest pages at the bottom and the newest at the top. Our current e-mail addresses will also appear at the bottom of this page.

2008

08Home - The Polo High School Homecoming Parade was held on October 9 while the Homecoming Dance was held on October 11. Here are some highlights of those events.

2007

07cit - November 16, 2007 was a special day for us as Nancy and Menchu completed their naturalization process and officially became citizens of the United States.
07eur - Mid-October found Nancy and Larry on a business trip to Europe to visit the largest bus show in the world and to visit a bus factory in Belgium. One free day permitted a side trip to Paris.
07ib - Mid-August found us at Indiana Beach as we took an extended weekend break just prior to the start of school.
07sum - Here are some photos of some of our trips and activities during the hectic summer of 2007.

07Grad - As the end of the school year started to draw near, the last half of May, 2007 became hectic with Panjee's participation in a play, her piano recital, Tricia's ballet, and Panjee's graduation from eighth grade. In addition to receiving numerous awards, certificates and medals, her classmates also elected her as class president for next year.

2006

06arr - Diane, Eski and little Ysabella Sofia ("Iya") arrived in Illinois from the Philippines on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Here are the photos taken shortly after their arrival.
06Panb - Here are some photos taken on February 25, 2006 when we celebrated Panjee's 13th birthday. Several of Panjee's friends came over to help her celebrate. In addition to some other nice presents, Panjee received her first U.S. Passport which confirmed her U.S. Citizenship.

2005

05xmasb - Christmas Day 2005. The Plachno kids and their families gather in Polo for the traditional Christmas morning meeting. Nancy does a great job with the food.
05xmasa - This covers early Christmas activity from Saturday, December 17 through Christmas Eve, December 24, 2005. Photos cover the Simbang Gabi in Freeport, decorations around the house, and family gift giving on Christmas Eve.
05men - Menchu's birthday of June 18 fell on a Saturday so we decided to celebrate with a combination back yard cook out and pool party and invited our Filipino friends.

2004

04bday - Panjee turned 11 on January 6, 2004 but we put off the party for her friends until February 1. Here are photos taken of Panjee and her friends at the party.

2003

03xmas - Here are ten photos taken just before Christmas and on Christmas day 2003 at the Plachno house. Included are photos taken at Larry's surprise birthday party immediately after Christmas.
03hol - Photos taken just before and on Halloween with various activities including Menchu and Panjee making cup cakes for Halloween as well as Tricia and Panjee going out to trick-or-treat.
03eur - October 18-24, 2003. Nancy's first trip to Europe to visit the bus show in Belgium and a factory in Germany.
03tbd1 - Here are eight photos taken at Tricia's second birthday party on August 30, 2003. This was also the first time that Nancy, Menchu, Cookie and Jong were together in the United States.
03tbd2 - This is a second page of photos taken at Tricia's second birthday party. These ten photos show several of the guests.
03pic - This is a special page of photos of Panjee and Tricia taken between May and July of 2003. Most were taken by Nancy.
03can - Taken in July of 2003, these photos show our trip to Buffalo, New York for the FMCA Convention and then our travels into Canada including Niagara Falls and the Toronto area. This is the first time that Nancy, Panjee and Trcia went into Canada and they did it twice on this trip.
03wis - These photos are from our mid-June, 2003 trip to Wisconsin including the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, the Lake Michigan Car Ferry in Manitowoc, and a stop at the Milwaukee Zoo.
03may - Most of these photos were taken at the end of May when school ended for the summer. Included is our trip to Bus Bash in Louisville, King's Island, Panjee's piano and voice recitals, and new cars for Menchu, Cookie and Richard.

02fla - The 42nd Bus Bash in Orlando, Florida in 2002 plus Tita Irene Kirkley, and a visit to Walt Disney World with Menchu, Cookie and Richard.
02fla2 - Our Florida 2002 vacation continues with Joan Corneta on the Gulf Coast, cousin Richard and Arlene, Gatorland, Arabian Nights, Kennedy Space Center in Florida and Opryland Hotel in Nashville on our return.
